I just sent my four pattern covers off to the printers! HUGE milestone here! I sincerely hope they come back the right color because I'm beginning to wonder if my monitor is off (it's turquoise in Illustrator but aqua in Flickr). I'm also waiting for consent forms from the designers of the fabrics whose images I'm hoping to use. So many small things to check off my list.
Here is Evelyn! All these colors make me happy but I had a hard time choosing combinations. I was so happy with the Edith cover and it was a tough act for me to follow but I went a little zestier with the next ones and I really love them.
Here is Shopgirl (and boy too!). Skate saw this one and said "there's Skater-tot!" (that's what he calls himself). He's right. Smart kid. He was the model for this one. I tried to convey the "reversibility" of the apron on the mom's apron. That part was a little tricky. What do think?

Okay, I'm off to spend some time with my kids. I've been living in front of this computer for a couple of weeks and my neck is killing me, my butt is going flat (-ter) and I'm starting to get carpal tunnel syndrome I think. A tasty homecooked meal and a few card games should make everyone happy.
Oh, and I received another fun goody in the mail this week and as much as I like it (review coming) it's going to be Friday's give away. Stay tuned!
