Well I promised I'd share picture of Joey's fishing trip because although he spent a lot of time here...
...catching these (8 total)....
....and drinking coffee in cool places like this.... (this place should be called "Gaston's", but I don't think it is)......
...oh, and hanging at fun retro places like this....
...he actually took some time to go to a couple of quilt stores (I know! What a guy!) and got some great pictures from the Stitchin Post.
The Stitchin Post is owned by Valori Wells and her mother Jean and it's quite the fixture in Sisters, Oregon. You can see why! The place is huge (it has an upstairs) and just stuffed with great fabrics and goodies. And check out the size of this cutting table! Seriously!
Joey even found some new knitting needles for himself here. He just finished another pair of socks and now he's working on a sweater. I hope it's not dorky looking because he's going to want to wear it no matter what.
That was nice of him to get pictures for me! And next week I'm going to get pictures of Burgerville (oh mommy!), Elmer's, Stumptown Coffee, Voodoo donuts and all sorts of great spots. I'll probably even text him a picture of my toes in the sand at Cannon Beach. Oh and I'll try to keep tweeting while I'm vacationing so if you haven't joined me on Twitter, I'm over here. It's sure to be riveting, ha!
Keep sewing (because you know it makes you happy)!
