Homegrown goodness

I picked this off my tree and ate it today.  We had 4 oranges make it after the freeze last year that nearly killed our trees.  Now we have 3.

Oh, and in case you were wondering...it was delicious.

Holy cow-as it's snowing here I can't even imagine plucking fruit off a tree outside! I will savor vicariously.

Boy, do I miss the fruit trees! This is "grapefruit season" as we called it at our house (in AZ). We are trying to make due with our Costco grapefruits (which aren't too bad) here in cold country, but there's just nothing like a freshly picked orange or grapefruit. Yum!

Jona, OK, now I want an orange. LOL! Great pic - LOVE the tiny chair.

Nice orange but I want the fabric that's behind it, lol! Birds are my favorite.

WOW!~~What a great way to get fruit--Just outside your door. I'm so jealous!~~XXOO, Beth

holy crap! it's giant!!

;-)

Hehe. Yeah Krysten, I had to kick Sofia out of the chair so I could set it down. Snort!
